Your personal information and how we handle itWhen you entrust Svadia with your personal information, it is important to us that you feel safe. We care about your privacy. Your personal data is treated with the utmost respect and in accordance with current legislation. This policy describes how we collect and process your personal information when you visit our website and use the services offered there. All personal data processing takes place following the Data Protection Ordinance. The person responsible for personal data is Svadia AB (corp. No. 556651-6489). In connection with placing your order, you agree that we save and use your information to complete and provide the service that you can expect from us.

We guarantee that no information about you will be sold or passed on to third parties. We reserve the right to cancel orders that contain incorrect personal information or where the customer has payment remarks.
What personal information do we collect and why?
Information you provide when you become a customer of SvadiaWhen you become a customer of Svadia, we collect your contact information: Name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, and, where applicable, social security number. We also collect information about delivery method, possible delivery point, and IP address. The purchase agreement that we have entered into with you constitutes the legal basis for the processing of your personal data and is necessary for us to be able to fulfill our legal obligations and fulfill this agreement towards you regarding, for example, delivery and payment.
Information collected through personal contactWhen you contact customer service via, for example, e-mail, telephone, or chat, we collect the personal information you provide to us. We do this to be able to answer the questions you have and to manage your case. It can e.g., be information about name, e-mail address, and order number. If your question concerns a complaint, we will process your information to fulfill our obligations under current consumer law. We do this based on the legal basis found in our purchase agreement.
How do we use your personal information?
Fulfill the agreementWe process your information to identify you as a customer, handle and deliver your order, and manage invoicing and payment. We also process your personal data to be able to help you if you contact us with questions, comments, or for example, a complaint.
Information about products and services
We use your personal information for emails with information about our products and services. You can revoke your consent to the receipt of newsletters, promotions, and offers at any time by contacting customer service or using the unsubscribe link provided in each newsletter. We will never disclose your information to an unauthorized party or resell it to an external party.
With whom do we share personal information?
Payment solutionsTo complete the purchase agreement and to be able to charge, handle invoices and payments, we share information with Klarna. Klarna will collect personal information about you in connection with payment. Klarna is thus responsible for this personal data according to the companies' terms. Freight companyTo be able to fulfill the purchase agreement our shipping companies use personal information to complete and deliver your order.
Cookies contain information that we use to improve the website and to be able to give our visitors the best possible service and experience. There are different types of cookies. Permanent cookies save a file on your device to adapt the website to your choices and remember that you have visited us before and can, therefore, for example, pre-fill your email and postcode. These cookies are stored on your device for a certain period or until you choose to delete them. AuthoritiesAccording to current legislation, we may be obliged to disclose personal information, for instance in connection with criminal investigations.
Other Legal basisWe may share information with potential buyers should we sell all or part of the business or in a merger with another company.
How long we save your personal informationWe store personal data as long as there is a legal basis, a documented purpose for the processing, or an ongoing user relationship. We have ongoing routines that ensure that we do not store unnecessary personal data and minimize the storage time as much as possible. Generally, we save your customer information for a maximum of three years from your last customer contact. However, information needed according to the Accounting Act may be saved for up to eight years.
How we protect your personal information
We have taken appropriate security measures to protect your personal information against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. Only the necessary personnel who need to process your personal data have access to your information. The providers with whom we share personal data will only process in accordance with our instructions.
We use industry standards to store, process, and communicate sensitive information in a secure way, e.g., SSL/TLS, PGP, and one-way hash algorithms.
You decide over your personal information
You have the right to take note of which of your personal information is available at Svadia and request that it be deleted. In order to access that information or delete your information, your application must be in writing, contain your social security number, and signed by you. Send your application to Svadia AB, Data Protection Officer, Sveavägen 168, 113 46 Stockholm. The information or confirmation of deletion is sent without undue delay to your population registration address.
Should your information be incomplete, incorrect, or irrelevant, you have the right to request that it be corrected or deleted. Some things cannot be deleted however such as data required by the Accounting Act and data required for Svadia to be able to fulfill its obligations in e.g., complaints.
You have the right to claim damages if the processing of your personal data has not complied with the law.
Your safety is keyIt is important to us that you feel safe. We protect your personal privacy and always strive to treat your personal information with the utmost respect. You also have the opportunity to submit a complaint to the Privacy Protection Authority, which is the authority that supervises the processing of personal data.
